House parties are informal fundraisers organized by our supporters who want to help raise funds for our movement, specifically to raise funds to bring patients to DC for the ASA Unity Conference and Lobby Day. We have a goal of generating a minimum of $1000 at each house party through a pitch for support made by the party’s host. Some people do traditional mix & mingle parties and others do sit down dinners and ask the guests to donate whatever they would have spent on dinner that night, we’ve seen baking parties, dance parties and any kind of party you can think of. It’s all about finding the right match for you and your friends.
