Citizen lobbying is an essential part of being a medical cannabis advocate and it is the only way elected officials will know how to represent you. Most elected officials have never met a medical cannabis advocate and have formed opinions about the issue based on media reports or and opposition. It is easier for elected officials to fall into intellectual or ethical stances against medical cannabis if they do not have a face to put with the issue. This workshop is designed to give advocates the tools they need to develop solid relationships with their representatives at all levels of government.
